The Porterhaus Print Exchange is an exchange of printed works within the Kansas City community. It will include students, artist, designers and print shops. The two goals of this exchange are to strengthen the network of KC based printmakers while presenting them and their work to the public. Participants in the exchange will put their work in a print pot and in exchange will receive a portfolio of 12 works from artists participating in the exchange.

Exchange Basics

• Submit an edition of 20 prints

• Receive a portfolio of 18 prints (1 print from each exchange participant)

• Exchange participants will have entries exhibited at The Golden Stag June–July 2020

Print Entries

• Any traditional, editioned printmaking process*

• 8” x 10” (20cm x 26cm) paper size. (Printed image size is open)

• Must be printed on handmade or archival paper.

• Edition of 20 identical hand-pulled, original prints, signed and numbered beginning at 1/20 through 20/20.

• The print exchange theme is “intersections”.

*Traditional processes include Relief, Intaglio, Lithography, Serigraphy/Silkscreen, Collagraph, Letterpress, risograph, etc. Digital Printmaking is acceptable only if combined with a traditional printmaking process. Solely Digital Prints, Photography and Photo Copies will be returned without a refund.
